Press Conference in Stockholm Sweden

Press Breakfast to the project SAVE Everest 2011th International and Swedish adventurer get together to save from Mount Everest to become the world's highest garbage dump. Eight to ten tonnes of debris will be transported down from the 8500 m level to the base camp at 5450 meters, where it will be sorted and disposed.

Present were:

  • The Swedish goodwill ambassadors Renata Chlumska, Frederick Stern and Lars Cronlund.All have been at the top of Everest.
  • Secr. of Nepal Mountaineering Association Everest & Summitteers Association, Mr. Diwas Pohkrel.
  • Founder Everest Summiteers Association & Save Everest in 2011, Mr. Wongchu Sherpa.Wong Sherpa is "the most famous Sherpa." He has guided world celebrities on Mount Everest, such as Sting and Schwarzenegger, and he has built up Nepal's biggest klätteroperatör / expedition operator.
  • International Goodwill Ambassador, David Breashears. David is one of the world's foremost mountaineers, and even filmmakers who summited Everest five times, including made the IMAX film Everest in 1996 as shown in Cosmonova and worldwide .
  • Tommy Gustafsson, Swedish initiated the project as well as mountain climbers and adventurers.
  • Mr. Lok Bahadur Khatri, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation.
  • Elisabeth Mackner, Eco Himal.
